Founder Story

Jeremy Theng, the founder of PT Hokka Samudra Perkasa has built his career by joining several shipping companies in Indonesia since 2019. His career journey leads him across all relevant departments (Purchasing, Marketing, Operations, Bunker) to being trusted with the CEO role in his recent development.

PT Hokka Samudra Perkasa is a shipping company that provides sea freight and transshipment logistics services for the mining industry in Sulawesi and Kalimantan. Although just established in August 2023, the figure who heading this enterprise is persistent in experience and service due to his long track record in his business field.

The company, which initially sailed 2 chartered ships, is now operating 20 sets of ships (tug & barge) with total cargoes reaching above 400,000 tons per month in just 4 months since it was established. Reliability and customer trust were earned over the last years of operation making PT Hokka Samudra Perkasa a superior company aiming to further improve and strive for better customer satisfaction. The company's slogan "We Stand as One" became a vision to explore wider prospects. To support the growth of the business, the company will be adding a fully owned fleet in 2024 to the current rental fleet.
